The organ responsible for managing the Electronic Office is the General Secretariat of the University of Valčncia.
All those persons accessing to the Electronic Office, no matter if they have identified themselves or not, will be considered as its users, accepting the conditions of use of this document as well as the terms established by the data protection policy and the rest of regulations referring to electronic administration.
The Electronic Office allows any users, after having identified themselves, to access to their personal files, where they can find all the procedures that have been processed electronically and their status.
The access to «My personal space» is unique for each user.
Whenever users access to «My personal space» through a username and password provided by the Electronic Office, they will only have access to formalities that were started with this type of identification. The access to formalities that were started with an advanced electronic certificate or with a username and password of the University of Valčncia will not be possible.

In accordance with the requirements of the Electronic Office Regulation of the University of Valčncia, these are the valid means of identification at the Electronic Office:
Furthermore, and in compliance with the AEA, the Electronic Office offers to users the possibility of registering and obtaining a username and password for the purpose of identification. In this case, users will only be able to accomplish the electronic formalities of those procedures in which this possibility is established, according to the criteria of security, integrity and non-repudiation.

SIt will be possible to enclose documentation if the procedures allow to do so. The University of Valčncia can require the comparison of the contents of the submitted copies and, if this comparison is impossible, it can exceptionally require from the individual to show the original document or information.
The submission of such copies implies that the University of Valčncia is authorized to access to such documents and process the personal information contained in them.
In the procedures in which submission of enclosed documents is allowed whithout advanced electronic signature, the aforementioned enclosed documents are not valid for the Administration. They have to be provided personally. The only purpose of the digitized documents is to speed up the formalities which require submission of documentation.

The University of Valčncia is a public university whose main function is to render the public service of higher education by means of research, teaching and study.
In compliance with the Act 11//2007, 22nd June, on Electronic Access of Citizens to Public Services, the university places the Electronic Office (henceforth: the Office) at the disposal of the users. To ensure the correct running of the Office, the files and the processing of personal data at the University of Valčncia are subject to the Organic Act 15/1999, 13th December, on Personal Data Protection and the Regulation for its implementation.
The University of Valčncia has registered at the Data Protection General Registry of the Spanish Data Protection Agency the file "Registry of incoming and outgoing documents", which among other things refers to the Electronic Office.
This privacy policy exclusively refers to the Electronic Office of the University of Valčncia and the processing of personal information linked to the latter and its tasks.
The dataprocessing at the Office guarantees the principles of secrecy and security (confidentiality, integrity and availability of data) as established by the Organic Act 15/1999, 13th December, on Personal Data Protection, and by the Royal Decree 1720/2007, 21st December, approving the Regulation for the implementation of the Organic Act 15/1999.

The Office allows anonymous surfing. The technical data generated by surfing are not object of processing with the purpose of disclosing personal information.
The existing procedures of personal data gathering meet the requirements of information and consent established by the articles 5 and 6 of Organic Act 15/1999, 13th December, on Personal Data Protection.
The object of this web does not include rendering services to minors nor gathering their data.

The data on these forms will be included in the information systems of the University of Valčncia with the purpose of complying with the regulations of administrative law and electronic administration.
The Electronic Office has at its disposal a mailbox to allow the submission of applications for information, complaints and suggestions in compliance with the terms of article 10.3 of Act 11/2007, 22nd June, on Electronic Access of Citizens to Public Services. The data referring to the electronic mail address and any other data contained in the text of the message will be included in the information systems of the University of Valčncia. They will only be object of conservation and processing during the space of time it will take to handle the application. The users who send us their requests can always exercise their rights as stated in paragraph Nr. 5 on "Rights of objection, access, rectification and cancellation"; if, however, there is a request to cancel the data, we will not be able to take into account the application linked to these data.
